Pete and I have a schedule arranged where he goes into work early and leaves early to pick Ellie up from daycare. I go in late and stay late, which means it's just the two of us (me and Ellie) in the mornings. And I'm almost always running behind. It can be a challenge to keep her occupied some mornings while I get things together. And, if I'm being honest, she's just too much fun. We could probably get out of the house on time most mornings, no problem, but I'm too busy watching her or playing games with her. Like my new favorite, peek-a-boo behind the refrigerator.
